Punjab government to revive rural transportation: Set to start new bus routes to connect villages with cities
Punjab News: The Punjab government is preparing to start a new bus route between villages and cities to restore the disconnection of village connectivity with cities. With this, people from villages will be able to reach the city easily and a large number of youth will also get employment. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is discussing the introduction of new routes of buses.
He said the youth would be encouraged to take up new routes so that they could become a source of livelihood for them. The youth will also be given interest-free loans to set up their businesses by buying new buses.
The Chief Minister said chaucers of seven to eight villages would be prepared, through which the bus would make it mandatory to travel from village to city and city to village twice a day. He said that the people of the villages work in the cities and the youth study.
