Punjab Governor terms two-day Vidhan Sabha session on October 20-21 as illegal
Mohali News: The Punjab government has called a two-day session of the Assembly on October 20 and 21. The assembly session called on October 20 has been termed illegal. The Punjab Raj Bhavan has written a letter to the Assembly Secretary citing the Governor’s decision. The governor had earlier termed the two-day special session called illegal.
Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan had called the session and said that the session will be part of the previous session as the session of the last session has not yet concluded.
According to a notice issued by Assembly Secretary Ramlok Khatana, the session, which was adjourned indefinitely by the Speaker on June 20 under the Conduct of Business Rules of the Punjab Assembly, has been called in the Assembly Hall at 11 am on October 20.
