Punjab govt issues notice to BJP candidate IAS officer Parmpal Kaur to join duty immediately
Chandigarh: The resignation of senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sikander Singh Maluka’s daughter-in-law and IAS candidate Parampal Kaur Maluka has not calmed down. Now the Punjab government has issued a notice to her asking to join her duties immediately, as she has not been exempted from the three-month notice period.
She cannot be considered relieved or retired from duty. In case of non-joining duty, she has been warned of appropriate action.
Parampal Kaur Maluka had adopted the volunteer retirement process for voluntary retirement.
Sources said that Parampal had adopted the VRS process so that she can get all the benefits that an IAS officer gets on retirement after completion of her tenure after leaving the job.
