Punjab’s GST collection up 25% over last year: Minister Harpal Cheema
Chandigarh: Punjab’s GST collection has registered a growth of 25 per cent as compared to the previous year. Giving this information, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that, in April 2022, the GST collection was Rs 1,550 crore, whereas, in April 2023, it increased by 25 percent to more than Rs 2,000 crore.
Harpan Cheema, while addressing Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann in a tweet, appreciated the work done by them. He wrote, “Punjab’s GST collection in April, 2023 increased by a whopping 25% to more than 2,000 Cr from 1,550 Cr in April, 2022. This is the result of honest and abled governance promised by @ArvindKejriwal ji and @BhagwantMann ji. I appreciate the hard work done by Department officials.”
