Punjab’s most expensive Ladowal toll rates hiked from Rs 165 to Rs 215
Ludhiana News: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has once again raised the rates at Punjab’s Ladowal toll plaza, the most expensive in the region. The rate has increased by 30 percent since Friday night, affecting commuters traveling to Ludhiana, Jalandhar, or farther destinations.
Now, travelers in car-jeep-van categories will need to pay Rs 215 for a single trip, compared to the previous cost of Rs 165.
There have also been changes in toll rates for multi-axle vehicles. NHAI has adjusted the toll rates based on the number of axles in vehicles.
For 3-axle commercial vehicles, the charge is Rs 795 per trip, while vehicles with 4-6 axles will be charged Rs 1140. Larger vehicles with seven or more axles will incur a toll of Rs 1390.
