Rahul Gandhi to address election rallies in Punjab tomorrow
Chandigarh: The election temperature is rising in Punjab. On one hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his second day of touring the state, while on the other, veteran Congress leaders will become active starting tomorrow, i.e., Saturday.
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have scheduled about five rallies in the state so far. They will begin their campaign in Amritsar, and the party has already started preparations for this.
According to information, Rahul Gandhi will start his rallies in Amritsar on May 25. Additionally, preparations are underway for rallies in Patiala and Ludhiana on May 29. Priyanka Gandhi’s rallies will start on May 26, with events planned in Fatehgarh Sahib and Jalandhar.
The visit of the party’s national president, Mallikarjun Kharge, has not been finalized yet. Meanwhile, Sachin Pilot and other star campaigners are active in the state. Today, he will address election meetings in Balachaur and Rupnagar circles in support of Vijay Inder Singla. However, no major leader’s rally has been scheduled in Bathinda so far.
