Rain alert in 19 districts of Punjab: Weather changed due to strong winds

Chandigarh: There was a sudden change in temperature in many cities of Punjab on Wednesday evening. After which people got slight relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department estimates that similar weather will remain on Thursday.

Things will start returning to normal in Punjab from Saturday.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in 19 districts today. An orange alert has been issued for rain and strong winds in the entire state except Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr and Roop Nagar.

At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the above four districts.
