Chandigarh: Amidst the scorching heat, the storm hit many districts of Punjab late on Wednesday night. As soon as the storm came, the electricity went off. It also started raining shortly after the storm. Due to which people got relief from the heat, but in many places there was damage due to the storm.
Several walls and trees collapsed across the state due to the strong storm that hit on Wednesday night.
According to the information received, the walls of many houses were broken and trees fell from several places.
Meanwhile, Met department predicted more rains accompanied by strong on Thursday.
