Ravneet Bittu vacated the government house in the middle of the night, moves to BJP office
Chandigarh: The political drama continues in Ludhiana as BJP candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu vacated the government house late last night.
Following the ongoing dispute over the government residence, Bittu arrived at the BJP office at midnight accompanied by his security personnel and full equipment, making the district BJP office his new home.
MP Ravneet Singh Bittu’s government residence owed Rs 1.84 crore, after which he was issued an NOC by the administration. Following this, he filed his nomination on Friday.
MP Ravneet Singh Bittu criticized the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab, stating that he had resided in this house for 10 years and had contested the 2017 and 2019 elections from there.
He claimed that he received full clearance from the administration previously but was issued a notice for one crore 84 lakh rupees just a day before the nomination.
