Record increase in admission of children in government schools this year: Harjot Bains
Chandigarh: Punjab Education Minister Harjot Bains addressed a press conference today. Talking about his ministry, he said that this is the first time that books have come to schools on time. Children’s uniforms are also arriving soon. At the same time, there has been a record increase in the admission of children in schools. The previous government’s record was 7 per cent, while this time there has been a 13 per cent increase in enrolment
He further said, “Computer education was promoted at a cost of Rs 200 crore. The shortage of teachers was also met soon and adequate teachers were recruited.”
