Resentment among BJP leaders in Gurdaspur over Lok Sabha ticket

Chandigarh: The Bharatiya Janata Party has declared Dinesh Babbu as its candidate from Gurdaspur seat for the Lok Sabha elections. Now the tone of resentment has started emerging in the party on this. Two big faces of the BJP have also expressed their displeasure.

The first among them is Kavita Khanna, wife of Vinod Khanna, a former MP from Gurdaspur. Swaran Salaria, who is challenging Sunil Jakhar in the by-election from the BJP.

Kavita Khanna said Vinod was worried about Gurdaspur till the last moments. After coming to Gurdaspur, I got a lot of love from the people. She has been serving people for 36 years. Due to this, she is working for the future of children by establishing the Kavita-Vinod Khanna Foundation here.

She did not say clearly that she is contesting the election, but she says that I used to win in all the surveys, so I will serve here.
