SAD-BSP juggernaut sweeps Jalandhar

SAD president Sukhbir S Badal addresses mammoth rallies at Shahkot and Kartarpur besides massive road show at Nakodar

Jalandhar:  The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) juggernaut today swept this constituency with SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal addressing mammoth gatherings at Shahkot and Kartarpur besides participating in a massive road show in Nakodar in favour of SAD-BSP joint candidate Dr Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi.

     Thanking the electorate for taking the SAD-BSP combine to the number one position in the constituency, the SAD president said “people participation today as well as overwhelming support Dr Sukhi is getting from the masses is testimony to the coming victory of Dr Sukhi in this by poll”.

      Expressing his gratitude to the electorate for the love and affection they had given to former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, the SAD president said “I am committed to following the footsteps of Badal Sahab. The SAD will also continue to strive to do its utmost for the farmers and the weaker sections of society besides standing up to divisive forces who are bent on spoiling the peace and communal harmony in the State”.

    The SAD-BSP roadshow at Nakodar witnessed an unprecedented response with people giving a rousing welcome to the SAD President all along the 15 kilometer route from Nakodar to Nurmahal. The SAD president, who was accompanied by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Harjinder Singh Dhami and Gurpartap Singh Wadala, took a few hours to traverse the journey with thousands joining the road show in their personal vehicles.
