SAD leader Charanjit Singh Atwal quits party

Punjab E News: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Charanjit Singh Atwal today resigned from all party posts. A few days ago, his son Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal, who had also resigned from the Shiromani Akali Dal( SAD), was later made a candidate by the BJP for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election. It may be recalled that Charanjit Singh Atwal has been the Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Speaker of the Punjab11
