Sangrur DC orders probe after Meritorious schools children fell ill, assures stern action 

Sangrur: As soon as the matter of deteriorating health of the students of Meritorious School Ghabadan came to light, the district administration Sangrur has started the process of taking strict legal action against the contractor of the school immediately. 
     Deputy Commissioner Jatinder Jorwal gave this information in a press conference in the presence of SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal and other officials today. 
      Deputy Commissioner Jatinder Jorwal said that as per the guidelines received from Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, no officer or employee of any level involved in this matter will be spared. 
      A four-member committee headed by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sangrur Charanjot Singh Walia has been constituted to probe all aspects in depth, which will submit its report within a week. He said that tehsildar, district education officer secondary, senior medical officer have also been included in this committee.
      The Deputy Commissioner said that 18 students were admitted to Civil Hospital Sangrur last night, out of which 14 recovered and returned home and today about 36 more students were admitted to Civil Hospital and 20 students admitted to PGI Center in Ghabadan, whose condition are stable.
