Chandigarh: A scientist was killed during a parking dispute in Mohali’s Sector 67 on Tuesday evening. The deceased, identified as Abhishek Swarnkar, was a former researcher at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) and originally from Bengal.

The altercation occurred around 8:30 pm when Swarnkar was parking his bike outside his rented apartment, where he lived with his elderly parents.
