Scrap dealer wins Rs 2.5 crore lottery in Jalandhar

Chandigarh: An elderly scrap dealer has won a lottery of Rs 2.5 crore in Adampur town of Jalandhar district. 67-year-old Pritam Lal Jaggi bought this lottery ticket for just Rs 500 on the occasion of Rakhi.

Pritam Singh said that he works as a scrap dealer and has been buying lottery tickets for the last 50 years. He hoped that sooner or later his luck would shine.

Pritam says that he came to know by looking at the newspaper that he has won the lottery. However, he did not believe this. Shortly after, when he got a call from the lottery selling agency, he believed it.
