Second suspect in Chandigarh blast arrested
Chandigarh: Another suspect was arrested today in connection with a blast at a house in Sector 10 here, police said. The Punjab Police gave this information. DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the accused Vishal Masih has been arrested from Delhi.
He is a resident of Raimal village in Batala, Gurdaspur. On September 11, two suspects, who came from an auto-rickshaw, had detonated a grenade at a house in Sector 10.
The police had arrested Rohan Masih, the main accused in the blast incident, on September 13. “Punjab Police in collaboration with central agencies has arrested another accused Vishal Masih from Delhi on the basis of chandigarh grenade blast incident,” Yadav said in a post posted on social media platform X.
He is a resident of Raimal village under Dhyanpur police station Kotli Surat Malian of Batala in Gurdaspur and his father’s name is Sabi Masih. Yadav said the matter was being investigated to unearth the entire conspiracy.
