SGPC seeks registration of case against Kangana, warns HP govt
Amritsar: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) meeting in Amritsar has demanded the registration of a case against the newly elected MP from Himachal Pradesh (HP) and film actress Kangana Ranaut.
SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that action should be taken against Kangana on the basis of the words said about Sikhs after the controversy at Chandigarh Airport.
SGPC chief said that after the Chandigarh airport controversy, the CISF constable Sikh girl was transferred, but no action was taken against Kangana Ranaut.
At the same time, the government should think about the treatment being meted out to Punjabis and Sikhs in Himachal Pradesh. This will not harm them, tourists will be reduced. The Himachal Pradesh government should learn from this fact that Punjabis have shifted from Himachal Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir this time.
