Sidhu Moosewala’s second death anniversary today: Rahul Gandhi meets Balkaur Singh

Chandigarh: It has been two years since the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Today, Wednesday, marks the second death anniversary of Moosewala.

On this occasion, Moosewala’s family and loved ones are remembering him. Senior Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met with Balkaur Singh today and held talks.

Rahul Gandhi assured Balkaur Singh that justice would be served as soon as the Congress government is in power. Balkaur Singh expressed his trust in Rahul Gandhi, stating that he has full faith in him because Rahul Gandhi has personally experienced similar situations.

In light of the upcoming elections, this year’s memorial program has been organized at the village level to prevent any political exploitation of the event. Moosewala’s parents visited the memorial built in the village to pay homage to him.

Mother Charan Kaur and father Balkaur Singh, who visited the memorial, offered a saropa at their son’s statue and remembered him with tearful eyes. Father Balkaur Singh mentioned that this year the program is being held at the village level due to the ongoing elections.
