Six-time MC, Senior Akali leader dies of heart attack while campaigning in Jalandhar
Jalandhar News: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Jathedar Harbhajan Singh Dang passed away while campaigning for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election.
Jathedar Dang was the president of Shiromani Akali Dal Ludhiana as well as a councillor. He has been a councillor for 6 consecutive terms. Along with this, there has also been the Leader of Opposition in the Municipal Corporation House.
Jathedar Harbhajan Singh was on duty by the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election. He was engaged in campaigning for the party in Phillaur assembly constituency adjoining Ludhiana. During the campaign, his health suddenly deteriorated. He was immediately rushed to Ludhiana, where doctors declared him brought dead.
