Star campaigners to campaign in Punjab election: PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal-Mayawati to hold rallies

Chandigarh:T he veterans will now take the lead in the field to sharpen the campaigns of the candidates entering the election fray in Punjab. All political parties have started their preparations.

With ten days left for voting, no party is leaving any stone unturned. In Punjab, the schedules of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, and Mayawati are being finalized. Kejriwal will stay in Punjab for about five days.

BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Punjab on May 23 and 24. He will launch his election campaign in Punjab from Patiala.

Additionally, Home Minister Amit Shah’s schedule is being arranged. Meanwhile, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s programs are being planned in Ludhiana, Batala, and Jalandhar. However, the party’s focus has primarily been on the PM’s program. Prominent leaders have set up camp in Jalandhar, Patiala, and Gurdaspur.

AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal will arrive in Punjab as soon as the Delhi elections are over. He will become active in the state after May 25, campaigning in all major constituencies.

The party has made all the necessary preparations. The CM is holding roadshows in two circles daily. After Kejriwal’s arrival, CM Bhagwant Mann will take charge in rural areas, while Kejriwal will focus on urban areas. Previously, Kejriwal held a roadshow in Amritsar.

Simultaneously, BSP chief Mayawati is also coming to Punjab on May 24. She will hold a rally near Mahalon bypass in Halqa Nawanshahr. Her rally is scheduled for 11 am, and Mayawati has shared information about her visit with the media.

The Congress is planning large rallies between May 23 and May 29. During this period, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and the party’s national president Kharge will take the lead.

The party is preparing for four rallies, including those for Rahul and Priyanka in Patiala. Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Badal will hold significant rallies in the last week of this month.
