State Human Rights AIG Malvinder arrested for misbehaving with officials
Mohali News: Malvinder Singh Sidhu, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Human Rights, Punjab Police, was arrested by Mohali police from vigilance headquarters late on Wednesday evening. He is accused of misbehaving with officials at the vigilance headquarters and obstructing government work by pushing them. He reportedly also damaged some documents.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the AIG under IPC sections 353 (assault on public servant) and 183 (assault or criminal intimidation), 323 (assault) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Phase-8 police station.
