Sub-inspector killed in road mishap in Kapurthala

Chandigarh: A car collided with a divider near Urban Estate on Jalandhar Road in Kapurthala, Punjab late night. The police sub-inspector died after being injured.

Confirming this, Station House Officer (SHO) of City Police Station-2 Urban Estate, Manjit Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Sub Inspector Jaspal Singh, a resident of Jalandhar.

He was posted at Satnampura police station in Phagwara division.
