Sunanda Sharma shares emotional message, thanks supporters amid legal battle with Pinky Dhaliwal; Read whole case
Chandigarh: In her latest Instagram post, Sunanda Sharma thanked the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Punjab government and other artists’ personalities who came in support.
An emotional Sunanda Sharma said, “After two years of struggle, I have got a skunk and I am now a free artist. I am a free bird. I am very thankful to my listeners all over the world for being my shield by standing with me in the hour. My heartfelt prayers for all of you. ”
“As an artist, I make a promise to you that till now as I have entertained you through my songs, through my films, through my poetry and through my social media platforms, I will continue to entertain you. Keep my company that way. Thank you very much. ”

Punjabi singer and actress Sunanda Sharma posted this on her Instagram account, accusing music producer Pinky Dhaliwal of cheating and mentally harassing her.
Refuting the allegations, Pinky Dhaliwal had said, “If you give bread to a child, this is what will happen. ”
On the other hand, after the intervention of the Punjab Women’s Commission, the Punjab Police registered a case at The Mataur police station in Mohali on the complaint of Sunanda Sharma.
Acting swiftly in the case, the police had arrested music producer Pushpinder Dhaliwal alias Pinky Dhaliwal.
Gurkaran Singh Dhaliwal, son of Pinky Dhaliwal, filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court against this arrest and the court ordered the release of Pinky Dhaliwal, after which the police released him.

What the Women’s Commission and the High Court said
“Sunanda Sharma, in her complaint, had alleged that Pinky Dhaliwal had not paid the income of Rs 250 crore from her songs and had exploited her financially. ”
Chairperson Raj Lali Gill had said that allegations of non-payment, threats and forgery were made in the case. On this complaint, the Women’s Commission took strict action and the police have registered a case against Dhaliwal and initiated further legal proceedings.
On the other hand, on the petition filed by Pinky Dhaliwal’s son, the High Court held the arrest wrong and ordered the police to release Pinky Dhaliwal immediately.
After this, the police have released Pinky Dhaliwal.
