Supreme Court dismisses Punjab govt’s plea in Khaira’s bail case

Chandigarh: The Supreme Court has dismissed the Punjab government’s appeal against the High Court’s 2015 order granting bail to Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira in the NDPS Act case.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court had granted bail to Khaira recently and the state government approached apex government yesterday challenging the order.
