Suspecting affair, 16-year-old girl killed, body tied to bike and paraded in village; father arrested in Amritsar
Amritsar News: The father of a 16-year-old girl, who killed her in Punjab’s Amritsar district over suspicion of her affair, surrendered before the police, police said on Friday.
After killing his daughter, accused father tied the body to his motorcycle and roamed the whole village. Following this, the body was thrown on the railway line by accused.
He will be presented in the court to seek his police remand. The incident took place in Muchhal village of Tangra. The daughter was missing from home for two days and she returned home at 2 pm on Thursday, police said.
After this, accused physically assaulted daughter and later killed her with a sharp weapon. The murder was caught on CCTV camera. The villagers informed the police. He fled from the spot and on Friday he surrendered before the police.
