“In Punjab, we have given government jobs to more than 27,000 youths and regularised jobs of about 28,000 contractual employees within a year. Apart from this, we also implemented old pension schemes. In Punjab, we also did a lot of work for farmers. For the convenience of sugarcane farmers, our government increased the price of sugarcane to Rs 380 per quintal, ” he said adding that on contrast successive governments ignored the woes of people and didn’t work for their welfare.
“In Karnataka, farmers are committing suicide and youth are suffering due to unemployment. But the BJP government in Karnataka does not care about them.”
Mann assured the people that the Aam Aadmi Party will solve the problems of farmers. “We will bring a clean and corruption-free government in the state. Concrete steps will be taken to provide free electricity, eradicate unemployment and set up industries for generating employment.”

We will not allow this freedom to be handed over to one or two families. This country is not the fiefdom of anyone’s father. It is a country of 135 crore people.”
