Two die due to electrocution at Gurdwara in Jalandhar

Jalandhar: Two youths, who were changing a cloth around the pole of Nishan Sahib (Sikh religious flag) in near village Shankar, were electrocuted to death.

In this tragic incident, three people have been seriously injured. The deceased have been identified as Buta Singh and Mohinder Singh of Bajuha Kalan.

Nakodar police station Shankar has started an investigation into the matter.

Shankar police post in-charge Jaspal said the incident took place on Saturday morning. The two owned land in village Shankar and lived here earlier but had shifted from here.
