Two gangsters injured, one nabbed safely in encounter with Ferozepur police

Chandigarh: Two gangsters were injured in an encounter with Ferozepur police late this evening, while another was nabbed safely.

Both injured gangsters have been admitted to the Civil Hospital, where their condition is said to be out of danger.

According to officials, a preliminary investigation revealed that the accused were involved in the twin murders that took place in the city last Tuesday and the subsequent firing on a municipal councillor the following day.

Police said the statements of the accused are being recorded and several important revelations are expected during interrogation.
