Two promoted as Joint Directors, four IPROs elevated to Deputy Directors in DIPR

Chandigarh: The Punjab government has cleared the promotion of two Deputy Directors from the Public Relations Department, Manvinder Singh and Ishwinder Singh Grewal, to the post of Joint Director.

Additionally, four Information and Public Relations Officers (IPROs) Navdeep Singh Gill, Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal, Hakam Singh, and Rasham Verma have been promoted as Deputy Directors.

Sources said that while there were six posts of Deputy Director available, only four officers have been promoted. One of the remaining posts has been kept on hold due to an ongoing departmental inquiry against the concerned IPRO.

The second post remains vacant as no rules have yet been framed for the technical criteria related to it.
