Two shooters arrested in Mick mobile showroom shooting
Kapurthala: The Kapurthala police have solved the high-profile Mick mobile showroom shooting case, arresting two shooters linked to the Kaushal Chaudhary gang.
SSP Kapurthala Vatsala Gupta said that Manish alias Mani and Lalit Kumar, both from Dudhola, Haryana, were apprehended with two country-made pistols and seven live rounds.
The shooting incident occurred on October 7, around 10 a.m., when unidentified gunmen fired 15-20 bullets at the Mick mobile showroom near DC Chowk, leaving behind a slip demanding Rs 5 crore, which caused widespread alarm.
The police registered Case No. 256 under various sections, including the Arms Act, against Pawan Kumar (Mangolpur Rohini, Delhi), Rahul (Amru, Haryana), Kaushal Chaudhary (Naharpur Rupan, Haryana), Saurabh Gondoli (alias Pawan Kumar from Garoli Khurd, Haryana), and three unidentified individuals.
Kulwant Rai, Superintendent of Police, led the investigation, which utilized technical and human intelligence to track the accused. Authorities revealed that several cases of murder and extortion are pending against the suspects across states, with some still evading arrest.
