US Embassy complaint leads to case against IBT owners Pradeep Kumar, Manveer Singh and two others
Jalandhar News: Following a complaint from the US Embassy, a case has been registered at Police Station 7 under IPC sections 420, 465, 468, 471, and 120B against four individuals. Those named in the case include Priya from Talwara in Hoshiarpur, Kamal Chaudhary from the village of Nikku Chakk in Hoshiarpur, and Pradeep Kumar and his brother Manveer Singh from New Kalgi Avenue, Mittapur.
The complaint was filed by Eric C. Molitor, an overseas criminal investigator at the US Embassy in New Delhi.
According to Molitor, Priya and Kamal Chaudhary had applied for study visas to the UK, but their submitted documents were found to include fraudulent experience certificates and bank statements.
These visa applications were reportedly facilitated through a travel agency on Garha Road operated by Manveer Singh and Pradeep Kumar. Police have registered the case, and further investigation following arrests may reveal additional details about the sources of the fake documents.
