Viral audio row: Ludhiana BJP candidate Bittu hits back at Bains, says will complain to IT

Chandigarh: BJP MP Ravneet Singh Bittu said that he had nothing to do with the viral audio clip. He said that whoever made this audio clip viral would file a complaint with the police’s IT cell. Bittu asserted that this was an attempt to tarnish his image.

He said that due to the ongoing election, such incidents are bound to happen. He added that everyone has his voice and questioned how the voice could be manipulated on a computer.

Bittu noted that this issue would persist for the next 10 days and that he would also file a complaint against those sharing the audio.

He questioned why these actions are being carried out outside the law and what the purpose of spreading these audios is. He said that the IT department would investigate who faked or played the audio.
