Woman SHO accuses DSP of harassment, claims suspension over false allegations
Chandigarh: Lady Inspector Arshpreet Kaur Grewal, recognized as a “Corona Warrior” by the Punjab Police, has accused DSP Ramandeep Singh of sexual harassment, alleging he falsely implicated her in a case that led to her suspension.
The suspension order came after she was accused of accepting Rs 5 lakh to release drug peddlers.
In a social media post, Arshpreet expressed that she has longstanding issues with DSP Ramandeep and SP Bal Krishna Singla, and intends to file complaints with the Moga SSP and the DGP.
She has also indicated plans to bring her case before the Punjab and National Commissions for Women, as well as the High Court, urging the Punjab government to consider her statements.
The Moga police district administration has not commented on the situation.
