South Africa beat England to reach Champions Trophy semi-finals
Lahore: South Africa secured a spot in the Champions Trophy semi-finals after defeating England by seven wickets in a Group B match. They joined India, New Zealand, and Australia in the last four.
Chasing a target of 180, South Africa reached 181 for three in just 29.1 overs. Rassie van der Dussen led the chase with an unbeaten 72, hitting six fours and three sixes.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klaasen contributed 64 off 56 balls, including 11 fours.
Opener Ryan Rickelton scored 27, while Tristan Stubbs was dismissed for a duck. David Miller remained unbeaten on seven. For England, Jofra Archer took two wickets, and Adil Rashid claimed one.
