Case registered against Amritpal Singh, his associates for thrashing a youth

Chandigarh: Ajnala police have registered a case against Amritpal Singh Khalsa, the head of the Waris Punjab outfit, and his accomplices for allegedly abducting and beating up a youth from Ajnala yesterday.

On this occasion, the victim Varinder Singh told that he had come to pay obeisance at the Darbar Sahib and after that bhai Amrik Singh had come to Ajnala for the ceremony to be held at Ajnala’s dera where bhai Amritpal Singh’s companions took him with him where he was badly beaten up by Bhai Amritpal Singh and his associates.
DSP Ajnala Sanjeev Kumar said that Varinder Kumar was abducted from Ajnala by some associates of Amritpal, after which he was taken to an unknown place and he was badly beaten up.
A case has been registered against Bhai Amritpal Singh and his associates.
