Long queues of voters, 4.92% voter turnout in first hour, Rahul Gandhi says vote for employment

New Delhi: Voting for the first phase of Assembly elections in Gujarat began on Thursday. The voter turnout in the first hour was 4.5 per cent. This time the main contest is between the Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. Over 2 crore voters will vote today to decide the fate of political parties in 89 constituencies spread across 19 districts of Kutch, Saurashtra and South Gujarat.
