Punjab and J&K police arrested 11 gangsters in joint operation with central agencies

Chandigarh: The Anti-Gangster Task Force of Punjab Police has arrested 11 members of an organised criminal gang in a joint operation with central agencies and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

“In a major breakthrough, AGAF Punjab in a joint operation with central agencies and J&K Police has arrested 11 members of a gang run by Charanjit Singh alias Raju shooter,” Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said in the post.

He added that the arrested accused were involved in criminal activities like attempt to murder, dacoity and drug smuggling. Three pistols, two barrels and 26 cartridges were recovered from the gang members.
