Punjab education board changes schools opening timing, Check

Chandigarh: Due to the change in weather, all schools in Punjab will open from 8.30 am on Wednesday. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains gave this information on Twitter.

He said that all primary schools will be closed at 2.30 pm. Middle, high and senior secondary schools will have a holiday at 2.50 pm.
There are about 27, 000 government schools in the state. There are 25 million students studying in them. Mid-day meal is provided by the Education Department to the students up to middle.
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has changed the datesheet of class 12 due to Hola Mohalla. The environmental education subject examination, which was to be held on March 6, will now be held on April 21.
PSEB Deputy Secretary Manjeet Bhattal said that the school principals and center superintendent have been instructed to inform the students about this so that the students do not have to face any kind of problem.
