Ram Rahim booked for inciting religious sentiments

Chandigarh: Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving a life sentence for raping two sadhvis, was booked by the Punjab Police.

A case has been registered against Ram Rahim in Jalandhar for inciting religious sentiments.
The case has been registered at Patra police station under Jalandhar Rural police station.
A case has been registered on the complaint of using wrong words and presenting wrong history in connection with Sri Guru Ravidas ji and Bhagat Kabir ji.
Dera chief Ram Rahim was returned to Sunaria jail on March 4 after ending his 40-day parole. During this time, heavy police security was deployed there and no unknown person was allowed to enter the jail premises till about a kilometer away from the jail by putting up barricades.
It is worth mentioning that Ram Rahim had reached Barwana Ashram in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh to receive him by the Haryana Police. Amidst tight security, Rahim’s convoy of vehicles reached Sunaria jail.
