Around 20 dogs killed by poisoning in Khanna, 5 bodies found

Khanna News: Several stray dogs were poisoned to death in Khanna today. At least 20 dogs died after someone allegedly fed them poisonous laddoos at Kehar Singh Colony on Lalheri Road. People informed the police about this this morning. Additional SHO Mandeep Kaur, who visited the spot, said the bodies of five dogs have been found and sent for post-mortem.
    The exact number of dogs that died is yet to be ascertained. CCTV cameras in the area are being examined to get a clue of the accused. 
    Ashok Sharma, a local resident, said two dozen dogs were roaming in the neighbourhood till Thursday but they suddenly disappeared this morning. Five bodies have been recovered so far.
