After Nuh violence, Haryana government demolished over 1200 buildings with bulldozers, mostly belonging to Muslims
Haryana News: Police action continues after violence erupted after stones were hurled during a Shobha Yatra in Haryana’s Nuh district. Six people were killed and more than 80 injured in the violence that spread around Nuh. After which bulldozer action is also happening rapidly, the Khattar government has taken bulldozer action on the homes of many people, most of whom are the homes of Muslims. So far, more than 1200 buildings have been demolished, including houses and shops.
A media report, as many as 1,208 buildings and other structures, mostly belonging to the Muslim community, were demolished in just five days in Nuh district. When several reporters reached the spot and enquired, it was found that most of the demolished properties belonged to Muslims.
On August 7, the Punjab and Haryana High Court also intervened in the matter and asked the Haryana government whether the government was involved in “ethnic cleansing” given the unilateral nature of the bulldozer action. After this, this action was stopped.
