Accused Sandeep Sunny produced in Amritsar court

Sandeep Singh Sunny, arrested in connection with the murder of Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri, who was shot dead in Amritsar yesterday, was produced before an Amritsar court today. The police got his 7-day remand. 

The Punjab Police had arrested the shopkeeper of Sandeep Singh Sunny, a resident of Kot Baba Deep Singh of Amritsar, who had opened fire on Sudhir Suri. A .32 bore pistol, the weapon used to carry out the crime, was also recovered from the possession of the accused person, who runs a cloth shop near Gopal Mandir, Amritsar.
