Punjab News: Tarn Taran SSP Gurmeet Chauhan has been transferred amid ongoing tussle with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Khadoor Sahib, Manjinder Lalpura.
After the MLA’s social media post, the government has removed Gurmeet Chauhan as Tarn Taran SSP. In his place, Ashwani Kapoor has been appointed as the new SSP of Tarn Taran. At present, Gurmeet Chauhan has not been given a new posting.
Upset with SSP, MLA wrote social media post which went viral and the ruling party faced a major embarrassment as its party MLA levelled serious allegations of corruption against the SSP.
