NIA conducts raids in 8 states, 2 Union Territories in human trafficking case

Punjab E News: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted nationwide raids to nab those involved in human trafficking and detained a Myanmar man in Jammu. The raids being conducted in eight states and two union territories are related to cases of human trafficking. The raids were carried out in Tripura, Assam, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Haryana, Rajasthan and the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Puducherry. Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar were arrested during a raid in Jammu and Kashmir.
