Three influential US lawmakers, including Indian-Americans Raja Krishnamoorthi and Pramila Jayapal, introduced a bill in the US House of Representatives to speed up the process of green card applications and end “discrimination against countries” for employment-based visas. If converted into law, the bill will help thousands of Indian-Americans who have been waiting for decades for a green card or permanent residency in the US.
