Chandigarh: The Punjab government has granted significant relief to Punjabi singer and rapper Honey Singh by moving to quash an FIR filed against him in Nawanshahr ten years ago for his song ‘Main Hoon Balatkaari’.
They have prepared a cancellation report for the court, which will be submitted shortly. Honey Singh had appealed to the Punjab Haryana High Court to cancel the FIR, and in response, the Punjab government has stated that the cancellation report has been prepared and pending approval from higher authorities before submission to the High Court.
