British Columbia police detain Punjab-origin woman for killing woman
The 28-year-old Punjaban is facing first-degree murder charges in connection with the “suspicious” death of a woman in Canada’s British Columbia province. Preeti Tina Kaur Panesar was taken into custody earlier this month after the woman’s body was found in the city of Delta in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia.
Delta Police did not share the victim’s name, age or any other identity details about her except that she had a family connection with Panesar. Initial investigation suggested that the case was a case of murder. The police did not share any further details.
