Big relief to Minister Arora, Sangrur court stays lower court’s conviction decision
Chandigarh: Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government minister Aman Arora has been given relief by the Sangrur court, staying the lower court’s decision of 2 years imprisonment.
This sentence was done in the case of family fight. Apart from this, eight other people were also sentenced in this case. The case was registered in 2008.
Earlier, during the hearing on January 25, Aman Arora was granted bail till January 31. After which the Punjab-Haryana High Court allowed him to hoist the tricolor in Amritsar on 26 January.
Today, a hearing was held in the court for permanent bail in this case. After hearing both sides, the court granted permanent bail to Aman Arora and banned the sentence completely.
