Chandigarh: In order to settle the cases of NRIs related to Punjab, the Punjab government is going to organize a Milani program at Mini Goa in Chamrod, Pathankot today. This is the first Milani Samagam of this year. In 25 days, the Punjab government is going to organize a total of 4 such programs. Along with resolving the complaints of NRIs, the government will also persuade them for investment.
This year, around 1000 NRIs have sent online complaints in Milani Samagam. These complaints were lodged by NRIs from January 11 to January 30 on the department’s website nri.punjab.gov.in and WhatsApp number 9056009884.
NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has assured that their grievances will be dealt with before they return abroad.
Apart from Pathankot, NRIs from Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur are reaching here in today’s program.
